Sweet Summer Soiree

The following pictures are some great ideas i've found for throwing a wonderful dinner party, bbq, picnic or any lovely event you have approaching. Please feel free to contact me for any receipes or questions.

Sparkling water or wine with summer fruit.
1 part Pimms and 2 parts lemonade is also nice for a british touch, dont forget the mint.

Fresh summer fruit is much healthier than ice cream.

These are so easy to create with some old washed jars.

A perfect idea for those old lightbulbs after use.

Any old frames from second hand shops make great outdoor artworks with a splash of paint.

Old books have been used to create a tablecloth and a hanging feature.

These fresh avocardos with cherry toms, almonds and a basil,olive oil and balsamic dressing. Also works with prawns and a chilli and lime dressing.

Earl Grey Lemonade 1.5kg water, 480g lemon juice, 360g sugar, 12-14 tsp earl grey. Bring half the water & all the sugar to a simmer until sugar is dissolved. remove from heat, add tea & cover for 10-12 minutes to desired strength. Once cooled, add mixture to lemon juice and remaining water. Chill; serve over ice.

There are so many great cupcake shops around now why not ask for some summer floral designs or if you are an experienced baker give them a try.

These raspberry icecubes look so pretty in any summer cocktail.

These are just strawberries covered in white chocolate then frozen.

Fruit and juice icypops what a treat.

For the kids these jelly oranges would be great.
Simply cut the oranges in half and scoop out the pulp, add the jelly and set in the fridge.

Nothing like pink lemonade and fresh berries or try the raspberry ice cubes in a glass pitcher.

A sparkling wine and fruit punch is a delightful drink on a hot sunny day.

How sweet are these apple candles just cut a tea light size hole in the top and place in candle.

I've always loved the sand filled brown bags with candle light.

These water melon mojitos work a treat, A shot of white rum with a teaspoon of brown sugar, half a lime fresh mint and fresh watermelon juice.

These are fresh strawberries scooped out with strawberry vodka jelly put inside and a small slice of lime.
