Gorgeous Gifts Continued..

Here are some more gift ideas for friends and family.
Remember to keep it simple and have fun with it.

Funky birthday pressie for those who hate to grow old. 30 lollie pops for 30th birthday.
This is a clever idea for baby showers, give each guest a letter of the alphabet to decorate and bring to shower for the nursery.
These christmas decorations are just cookie cutters with family photos glued behind.

A nice treat for a friend, bake some cupcakes and wrap up in a thinking of you card and clear wrap.

These pots look so sweet after being painted and decopaged with cute paper.

Lovely idea for a friend recently married for 1st christmas. A clear glass bauble with the wedding invitation cut into strips and twirled inside.

This is a cute house warming gift filled with those little essentials like hammer, electrical adapter, torch and nails etc. Could also be done with pantry essentials like olive oil, salt and pepper some spices etc.

This is a JUST ADD ICECREAM kit with wrapped up cones and toppings along with chocolate and berry sauce jars.

I love these bottle/ jars lightly covered with old pages from a friends favourite book or maps of places they have traveled to then candles placed inside.

These looked like such great gift tags made out of copied photos and cut into the tag shapes.

I love this lamp made from family black and white photos printed onto card and created into this lamp shade.

This is a cool design technique you can do with cardboard and a pin, it works for birthday/wedding cards or even on plain white lamp shades where the light can come through.

I thought these travel frames were a cool idea to show off mememtos like tickets, maps and passes, cut out the letters of the places from brochures from travel centres or travel magazines.

This is a lovely wedding gift using maps of where they met, where they married and where they live. Find areas in street or internet maps and cut out into heart shapes then label and frame.

This is another wedding gift idea using stenciled famous couple names and then the bride and groom name amongst in bold.

For a friend heading on a journey why not use old maps as the wrapping paper.

A use for old jam or mason jars with storing good olive oil, glue a cool print photo to the back of the jar, perhaps one facing out and one facing in together but both glued to the inside for desired effect.Black and white photos are best.

Another use for photos glued in jars or vases for floral look, adds something special.

Why not try an eye sight test stenciled onto paper spelling a secret message to your friend or lover.

For the tea lovers get your friends or family to save their tea bag rappers and use them to decopage a tea bag jar, box or even clip board as a gift.

For the fashion lovers or even for yourself keep your favourite designer bags and frame them up to create a fashionable wall.

Time to Get Organized

Here are some tips and ideas on how to get a little more organized around the home.

Black or white boards inside the pantry door for adding shopping lists.

I love these fabric or paper covered clip boards hanging on the wall for ideas or letters etc.

The file containers are at office works and can also be used in the pantry for foils, gladwrap etc.

If you have a towel rack why not hook a basket on for extra storage in rented apartment bathrooms.

This hook was a cute idea to store your ironing board away easily.

For small amounts of laundry powder put in containers to store easily and they look nicer too.

For a family why not try pin boards for family members to keep up to date with school notes or projects due.

This is a magnetic makeup board with small magnets from spotlight attached to the bottom of the makeup.

This was an old spice rack painted to store nail polish.

A dish washing rack now used to store files and folders in the office.

The terracotta pots look so cute for the silverwear to be stored in.

These are just bread date clips used to label what is what behind your tv cabinet etc.

This woman stores her sheet sets folded in a pillow case from the set to keep them clean and fresh and easy to find the whole set quickly.

This is a to do white board made from nice paper framed in a lovely glass frame.

So many options now for storing shoes but i like this photo tag idea for the labels.

Try one of those shoe holders for a pantry space saver with all those little treats or bags of spices.
In Australia you can purchase from Howards Storage World.

For storing those handbags in your wardrobe try shower curtin rings on
hanging rails. The work a treat to keep your bags in good condition.
